I had so much fun being interviewed by Paul Rushworth-Brown for the Down Under Author Interviews. This was my first ever interview and to say I was nervous would be an understatement, but I am really proud of how it turned out!
We discussed the impacts of the closure of the Australian Sawmilling industry in some states and how displacement is a real contentious issues faced by a lot of families.
We talked about how for some generational families, Sawmilling is all they have ever known and to be reskilled into another industry could be daunting for some people.
I can't thank Paul enough for this thoughtful and engaging interview and now I've done one, I'm sure there will be many more on the horizon so stay tuned!
