The Sawmillers Daughter Takes GOLD

On Saturday 17th October 2026, I attended the ABLE Golden Book Awards at the Park Royal Monash Melbourne.

The Sawmillers Daughter was nominated in the category for Best Fiction, and I am proud to say that I won the Gold Award for this Category.

I am so proud of The Sawmillers Daughter, and that the story is resonating with so many people.

Judge Greg Keyes announced, "it was the best book he's ever read."

It was great to see so many author recognised for their work.

One of the biggest fears as an Author is wondering whether your story will resonate with people and will people read & buy your book, getting this award has just cemented to me that people are loving it.
