1) Anything by Bryce Courtney- (He is my all-time most loved author) - The Potato factory series and Jessica being 2 of the greatest.

2) Lonesome Dove- By Larry McMurtry, if you love a good western than this is the book for you.

3) Pillars of the earth- By Ken Follet, it is set in 12th century England and weaves around the building of a cathedral, it has strong memorable characters that like the cathedral will last forever.

4) The Book Thief- by Markus Zusak, this is a riveting read from start to finish, you won't want to put it down

5) The Bronze Horseman- By Paulina Simmons- This series is a wonderful love story through hardship and determination the story of Tatiana and Alexander is a must read!
